The RF20-50mm F4 L IS USM PZ is Canon's first full-frame RF lens with an internal zooming design and built-in power zoom, and its first L-series standard zoom to start at 20mm. Nothing extends as you zoom, so the barrel length stays fixed for gimbal balance and tidy handheld work, and a constant f/4 aperture with a 9-blade diaphragm holds exposure and background rendering steady across the range. UD and aspherical elements keep the wide end sharp corner to corner.

A dual-operation switch lets you zoom manually or under power with no added accessories, giving videographers smooth, repeatable motorized moves and stills shooters the fast manual feel they expect. Image stabilization corrects up to 6 stops, or up to 8 stops with coordinated IS on compatible EOS R bodies, and it focuses as close as 9.5 in.
