BirdDog PLAY PRO HDMI to NDI Converter with PoE
PLAY PRO carries the same video and audio path as the standard PLAY converter, but the device itself can be set to run as an encoder or a decoder rather than encode-only, so the same unit can put an HDMI source onto the network as NDI or pull an NDI stream back out to a display. Its own configuration page shows the current setting alongside source selection, output resolution and NDI audio control.
The HDMI connection, NDI format support and resolution range match the standard PLAY, but PLAY PRO adds Power over Ethernet as a supply option, drops the need for a separate USB-C power brick on a PoE network, and carries an LED status indicator so the operating mode is visible without opening the web interface. The PoE body is larger than the standard PLAY at 76 x 76 x 28mm and 158g.
