BirdDog Flex 4K IN
The BirdDog Flex 4K IN is one of the smallest full-NDI encoders on the planet, a palm-sized box that takes an HDMI 2.0 signal and puts it on the network as full-bandwidth NDI. It handles UHD 2160p down through 1080p, 1080i and 720p using BirdDog's i-frame codec, so a camera, computer or switcher output becomes an IP source that any NDI system can find and use.
Two-channel 48kHz HDMI audio rides along, and a 3.5mm jack pair adds a mic/line input and a headphone/line output. An integrated tricolour Halo tally shows preview and program state, a 2.5mm RS232 (VISCA) port passes PTZ control down to a connected camera, and a single Gigabit Ethernet cable carries video, control and PoE power. Run it on PoE+ (802.3at) or the DC 12V input, all inside a 107 x 63 x 31mm, 140-gram shell.
