BassBoss DV12-MK3 Single 12 inch Powered Loudspeaker

The DV12-MK3 is the long-throw top of the BassBoss range. A 12-inch neodymium woofer on a 4-inch voice coil handles the low and mid range while a 3-inch diaphragm compression driver on a 1.4-inch exit fires through an isophasic waveguide, giving a tight 120 by 20 degree pattern that throws down the length of a room instead of into the ceiling. Bi-amped power totals 3,200 watts, split 2,400 watts to the woofer and 800 watts to the horn.

Output is 128 dB sustained and 134 dB peak with response from 45 Hz to 19 kHz, so it works full-range for speech and light music and crosses cleanly to any of the BassBoss subwoofers when the low end has to go lower. Eight presets switch from the rear panel with a hundred more available over the network through ControlBASS, all running on a 96 kHz DSP. The cabinet weighs 63 pounds and is finished in the same polyurea shell used across the line.
