Audix SCX25APS Piano Microphone System

The SCX25APS is a purpose-built system for miking a grand or upright piano in stereo, especially in live settings where the lid must stay low and nearby instruments bleed into open mics. It pairs two SCX25A large-diaphragm condensers - whose compact, open-body design gives a highly transparent, accurate sound - with everything needed to place them on the soundboard.

Two DFLEX clips attach directly to the piano rail so each SCX25A can be positioned anywhere over the strings without a stand crowding the player, and two 20-foot quad-conductor XLR cables with braided shielding keep the runs quiet. The whole system travels in an aluminum flight case. A turnkey answer to one of the hardest sources to mic well.
