Audix A131 Large-Diaphragm Studio Condenser Microphone
The A131 is a large-diaphragm cardioid condenser for vocals, choir, piano, acoustic instruments, and overheads. It is built around a 33 mm fixed-charge capsule with a 3.4-micron gold-sputtered diaphragm in a precision-machined aluminum body, delivering a smooth, natural response from 40 Hz to 20 kHz with an 84 dB signal-to-noise ratio.
Its contemporary, compact form suits podcasting and content production as readily as a studio tracking room or a live stage. The A131 is essentially the A133 with the pad and high-pass filter left off, giving a clean, straightforward signal path at a lower price. It runs on standard 48 V phantom power.
