Audix TM1 Omnidirectional Test and Measurement Microphone
The TM1 is a precision omnidirectional measurement microphone for room analysis, system tuning, and real-time analyzer work. Its 6 mm pre-polarized condenser capsule delivers a flat response from 20 Hz to 25 kHz within about +/- 2 dB, so it reports what the room is actually doing rather than adding a voice of its own.
A four-stage machined brass body with a nickel-plate finish, Switchcraft XLR, and shock-absorbent O-rings make it durable and repeatable in the field, and it runs on standard 18 to 52 V phantom power. It pairs with common measurement platforms such as Smaart, REW, and other RTA software. The essential reference mic for anyone aligning a PA or treating a room.
