Audix VX5 Handheld Condenser Vocal Microphone
The VX5 is a handheld condenser for singers who want the detail and air of a studio capsule in a stage-ready body. Its pre-polarized 14 mm gold-sputtered element gives a clear, extended response, and the supercardioid pattern keeps monitors and backline out of the vocal for strong gain before feedback.
Two recessed switches on the body add a -10 dB pad and a bass rolloff, so the mic adapts to loud sources and heavy proximity without an outboard change. It runs on standard 18 to 52 V phantom power and handles peaks past 140 dB SPL with the pad engaged. A natural fit for lead vocalists moving up from a dynamic to a condenser on stage.
