Audio-Technica U853RW
The U853RW is the white version of Audio-Technica's UniPoint cardioid condenser hanging microphone, designed to drop discreetly over a choir, orchestra, theater stage, or altar and cover it evenly. The consistent cardioid pattern, with a uniform 120 degree acceptance angle, delivers natural sound from any angle and strong gain before feedback, and an integral 80 Hz UniSteep low-cut filter trims low-frequency ambient rumble at the source. UniGuard shielding gives it high immunity to radio frequency interference, and the low-profile white body keeps it unobtrusive against a light ceiling.
The capsule is interchangeable, with cardioid, hypercardioid, omnidirectional, and UniLine line-cardioid elements available. It ships with the AT8538 power module (XLRM-type output), the AT8153(WH) two-stage foam windscreen, the AT8451(WH) white steel hanger, and the AT8438 stand adapter, and it runs on 11 to 52V phantom power.
