Audio-Technica U857QU

The U857QU is a UniLine line-cardioid condenser quick-mount gooseneck microphone from Audio-Technica's UniPoint line, built to plug straight into a panel- or desk-mounted XLRF connector. Its tightly focused 90-degree acceptance angle and strong off-axis rejection deliver high gain before feedback in conference rooms, council chambers, courtrooms, and houses of worship. UniGuard RFI shielding keeps it clean around wireless systems.

The 19.17 inch (487 mm) gooseneck flexes easily into position and holds its shape without creeping. Self-contained electronics feed a 3-pin XLRM base connector, so no external power module is needed; it runs on 11 to 52V phantom power. An AT8662 shock mount and an AT8154 two-stage foam windscreen are included, and the capsule accepts interchangeable UniPoint elements for other patterns.
