Audio-Technica ATW-R900a System 9 Receiver
The ATW-R900a is the receiver from Audio-Technica's entry-level System 9 VHF line, sold standalone for a production that needs to replace a unit or is starting from a transmitter it already owns. It's a non-diversity, single-channel design with an advanced dipole antenna that adds a ground element to the standard signal element, extending range beyond what a simple whip antenna achieves in a typical room.
Four switchable VHF channels (169.505, 170.245, 171.045, and 171.905 MHz) let it run alongside other System 9 units without interference. The back panel keeps setup simple: a volume control, squelch control, balanced XLR output, and unbalanced 1/4-inch output cover the connections most mixers need.
