Audio-Technica AT831c Lavalier Microphone
The AT831c is the cardioid condenser lavalier from Audio-Technica's AT831 family, supplied without a power module and with an unterminated cable so you can wire it to whatever connector your system needs. Its cardioid pattern favors the wearer and rejects sound from the sides and rear, which controls feedback and room noise where an omnidirectional lavalier would struggle.
The mic clips discreetly to clothing for speech and works equally well on acoustic instruments that need isolation. The 10 ft cable leaves room to route it to a bodypack or a separately purchased power module, and it ships with an AT8116 foam windscreen and AT8419 clothing clip.
