Audio-Technica AT8114 Ball-Shaped Foam Windscreen

The AT8114 is a ball-shaped foam windscreen for Audio-Technica's tapered handheld microphones, covering the PRO and Midnight Blues dynamics, the ATM41a and ATM27HE, and Artist Elite vocal condensers such as the AE3300, AE4100, AE5400 and AE6100. It rounds off the grille for live vocal work where a singer is right on the mic and adds a layer against spit and stage wind.

It fits Audio-Technica case styles S7, T1, T4, T6, T7. That covers the AT813a, ATM31a, AT8031, ATM27HE, ATM41a, ATM41HE, MB 1k, MB 1k/c, MB 3k, MB 3k/c, MB1000H, MB1000L and others. Foam windscreens compress and wear with regular use, so keep a spare in the kit; a fresh one is the cheapest way to keep breath noise off the recording.
