Audio-Technica AT8136 Egg-Shaped Foam Windscreen

The AT8136 is an egg-shaped foam windscreen for Audio-Technica's slim side-address and end-address condensers - the AE5100, ATM10a, ATM33a, AT8010 and AT8033. It is the right choice for close-miked acoustic instruments and overheads where a breath of air across the capsule would otherwise print as a low thump.

It fits Audio-Technica case style S4. That covers the AE5100, ATM10a, ATM33a, AT8010, AT8033. Foam windscreens compress and wear with regular use, so keep a spare in the kit; a fresh one is the cheapest way to keep breath noise off the recording.
