Audio-Technica AT8131 Miniature Foam Windscreen for AT829cW

The AT8131 is a miniature foam windscreen for the AT829cW cardioid lavalier used with Audio-Technica cW-style body-pack transmitters. It is the replacement for the windscreen supplied with the microphone and does the same job: keeping breath noise and clothing turbulence off a chest-mounted capsule.

It fits Audio-Technica case style M8. That covers the AT829cW. Foam windscreens compress and wear with regular use, so keep a spare in the kit; a fresh one is the cheapest way to keep breath noise off the recording. It is covered by Audio-Technica's two-year limited end-user warranty.
