AJA ColorBox BBC HLG LUTs Pipeline License

ColorBox carries the BBC HLG LUTs pipeline as a licensable mode; without the license it runs watermarked. This key removes the watermark and gives a broadcaster the BBC's own field-proven conversions for HLG production: SDR, PQ and S-Log3 into HLG, and HLG out to SDR and PQ, in both scene-light and display-light forms, following the mathematical HLG mapping described in ITU BT.2408.

The pipeline also includes an RGB Color Corrector and Proc Amp so the signal can be corrected before the LUT is applied, uses 33-point tetrahedral interpolation on the 3D LUTs, and keeps a full bypass node on both the 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 paths. It is the right license for a truck or gallery that has standardised on the BBC HLG workflow and wants the conversions done in hardware, in line.
