Allen & Heath SQ RACK

The SQ-Rack puts the full SQ mix engine into a 4U rackmount chassis for installs, monitor rigs and systems run from software. The 96kHz XCVI FPGA core handles 48 input channels to LR plus 12 stereo mixes and 3 stereo matrix, with 16 high-quality onboard mic preamps and three stereo line inputs. A dedicated fader screen and the customizable SQ-Control display keep hands-on control on the front panel even without a full fader surface.

Local outputs and a stereo AES3 digital output cover the rig, and the same processing set applies throughout: parametric EQ, a 28-band graphic EQ and a compressor on channels and mixes, plus eight RackExtra FX engines. The SQ MixPad app for Android, iOS, Windows and macOS runs the whole console over the network, with an offline mode for prepping scenes and shows away from the venue. The SLink port expands the system to 48 mic inputs across Allen & Heath's Everything I/O stageboxes.
