ZeeVee HDb3000 Component/VGA Media Module Blade

The HDb3000 Component/VGA Media Module Blade is an HD encoder and QAM modulator that slots into a ZeeVee HDb3000 chassis. Two 13-pin DIN connectors accept either Component (YPbPr) or VGA video, each paired with S/PDIF digital or 3.5mm analog stereo audio, and the blade encodes each input to MPEG-2 for RF distribution up to 1080i/p.

Each blade generates two independently modulated RF channels at an average 18 Mb/s encoding rate, with programmable latency of 200-400ms and delay-matched analog audio outputs for local monitoring. It supports ZvShow, ZeeVee's built-in 2GB looping video source, and passes closed captions from a composite source. The blade requires the HDb3000 chassis and Hydra breakout cables, both sold separately, and is not compatible with DirecTV H26K satellite receivers.
