Vaxis Air Headset

The Air Headset is the Bluetooth half of a Litecomm or TRANSCOM intercom setup: a lightweight single-ear headset with a boom mic that pairs to a belt pack over Bluetooth 5.1 instead of a coiled cable, so the wearer can move around a set without a cord snagging on gear. At about 38 grams it disappears on the head over a long shoot day.

It holds roughly 12 hours on a charge and recharges in about 40 minutes, and its Bluetooth link reaches about 20 meters back to the belt pack, enough slack to set the pack down and step away from a monitor cart or a sound cart without losing the connection.
