Whirlwind HAUC Under Counter Headphone Control Box
The HAUC is the HATT built to live under the counter rather than on it, which is how most broadcast studios, language labs and control rooms want it. The box has rounded edges so it is easy on knees and clothing, a detail that only matters once you have caught a jacket on a sharp corner.
It is an active stereo amplifier handling headphones from 8 to 600 ohms with low distortion and wide response. Front panel: 1/4 inch and 1/8 inch headphone jacks and volume. Rear: two 1/4 inch TRS stereo jacks and one 1/8 inch TRS jack for input and through. Powered from the included 24 VDC adapter.
