Vaddio ProductionVIEW HD-SDI MV Control Console

The ProductionVIEW HD-SDI MV is an all-in-one live production console that folds a broadcast-quality video switcher, a PTZ camera controller, and a built-in multiviewer into a single control surface. It is a 6-input, 2-output seamless mixer that can also run as two independent 6x1 switchers for dual-bus program feeds. Because it is a dedicated console rather than a computer, the entire system produces just one frame of delay, which matters for live image magnification. A 3-axis Hall-effect joystick with twist-handle zoom plus dedicated pan, tilt, and speed knobs drive the cameras, and a Lower Screen Graphic function overlays computer graphics onto the program output.

The input side takes five HD-SDI/SDI feeds on BNC connectors plus one DVI-I input that accepts DVI-D, RGBHV, YPbPr, or HDMI, and all six inputs auto-sense resolution and camera control. Program and preview each provide HD-SDI on BNC alongside HDMI, and the multiviewer outputs pair with Vaddio's optional TeleTouch touch-screen monitor to see and switch every feed by touch. Six auto-configuring RS-232 ports control Vaddio, Sony, Panasonic, and Canon cameras without daisy-chaining. The console ships with an 18 VDC power supply, a Lower Screen Graphic quick-start demo CD, and documentation.
