Universal Audio Volt 876 USB Audio Interface

Volt 876 puts eight microphone preamps with UA's Vintage tube-style mode and 76-style compressors into a rack unit, running 32-bit / 192 kHz conversion. Every preamp offers 60 dB of gain with per-channel phantom power, and the eight inputs are complemented by twelve output channels: eight main plus two stereo headphone feeds.

The UAD Console app handles Assistive Auto-Gain and full session recall of the front-panel settings, so a session that took an hour to dial in can be reopened exactly as it was. It connects over USB and works with Mac, PC, iPad and iPhone, which makes it as usable for a mobile tracking rig as for a fixed room.
