Universal Audio Apollo x16 Gen 2 Thunderbolt 3 Audio Interface
Apollo x16 Gen 2 has no built-in mic preamps. It connects to the preamps, console and outboard you already own through 16 x 16 analog I/O on DB-25, with a switchable +24 dBu headroom setting, and gives them 133 dB of D/A dynamic range at -129 dB THD. Dual-Crystal Clocking holds jitter down across every sample rate up to 192 kHz.
UAD Console runs the interface: Auto-Gain sets preamp levels for you, Plug-In Scenes recall a whole channel setup at once, and Apollo Monitor Correction by Sonarworks measures the room and corrects what you hear through monitors or headphones. The bundle version you choose decides how much of the UAD plug-in library ships with it.
