Telex PH-88-IC3-QD Single-Sided Intercom Headset

The PH-88-IC3-QD is a super-lightweight single-sided intercom headset that weighs about 4.6 oz, so it disappears on the head over a long shift while leaving one ear open to the room. A dynamic noise-canceling microphone rides a semi-rigid, fully adjustable gooseneck boom, and a padded, adjustable headband keeps the single earpiece comfortably in place.

The IC3 wiring uses a dual 3.5 mm (1/8 in) split-feed connector for RTS ICW wireless beltpacks such as the ICW-6, and this QD version adds a quick-disconnect in the cable so the operator can unplug and step away without shedding the whole headset. The earphone covers 300 to 15,000 Hz at 150 ohms and the microphone 30 to 10,000 Hz at 200 ohms.
