Teradek Ranger Mk II 5000 12G-SDI/HDMI Wireless Receiver

This is the Ranger Mk II 5000 receiver sold on its own - the unit to add when video village, the DIT cart, or a second director's monitor needs its own feed off a transmitter that is already on the camera. A single Ranger transmitter drives up to six of them, and they pair without disturbing the receivers already on the channel. Output is 12G-SDI or HDMI at up to 4K60 with HDR, with a built-in scaler and deinterlacer for mismatched displays.

Five vertical antennas give the receiver the diversity it needs to hold a picture when an operator walks behind set walls or crowds. It tunes across 4.9 to 6.425 GHz, moving up into the quieter 6 GHz U-NII-5 channels when the 5 GHz band is congested, and the link is AES-256 encrypted with RSA-1024 key pairing. The 5000 model is also the only Ranger that adds Broadcast Mode, which lifts the six-receiver ceiling entirely so any number of receivers on the channel can pull the same feed - the reason it ends up on stadium and large-venue jobs rather than in a run bag.
