Teradek Prism 801 Base Rack System 1U

The Teradek Prism 801 is the compact 1RU base chassis for Teradek's Prism Rack line of 4K HEVC/AVC encoder and decoder blade cards. It gives production trucks, control rooms, and server racks a modular foundation for IP video: slot in up to three Prism 853, 873, 856, 858, or 877 cards in any mix of encode and decode to build exactly the channel count a show needs, and swap cards as requirements change instead of replacing the whole unit.

An internal 250-watt power supply feeds up to 15W to each installed card, and two 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet ports handle streaming and configuration traffic. The aluminum chassis is built for continuous rack duty at 0-40C, with 4K HDR 10-bit 4:2:2 streaming and IP video conversion running through whichever cards are installed. Encoder and decoder cards are sold separately.
