Teradek Prism On-Prem Gateway License

The On-Prem Gateway is the on-premises half of Teradek Core. Core is Teradek's platform for de-bonding incoming bonded-cellular streams and routing and distributing them out to destinations; this license lets a broadcaster run that gateway on their own server, inside their own network, instead of relying on Teradek's cloud. For a facility that has to keep contribution feeds on-site - for security, for latency, or to make use of fibre it already owns - the on-prem gateway takes in Prism encoder streams over the Teradek Bonding Protocol and hands them back out as clean feeds without a round trip to the cloud.

It is sold by capacity. The 5 In / 25 Out tier suits a smaller on-prem deployment; the 10 In / 50 Out tier doubles the inputs and outputs for a busier plant; and the I/O Upgrade License expands the input/output capacity of a gateway already in service, so a facility can grow without replacing what it has. On the way out, the gateway distributes over the usual broadcast and streaming protocols - MPEG-TS, SRT, RTSP, RTMP/RTMPS, and HLS - to monitors, switchers, recorders, and CDNs. This is an enterprise software entitlement; on-prem Core is provisioned as part of a custom deployment.
