Teradek Prism Decode License

This is the license that gives an encode-only Prism unit - a Prism Flex, a Prism Mobile, or a Prism 877 - a second job. Out of the box those units only push video out; the Decode License adds a secondary output so the same box can also pull a stream back in and decode it, which is what a crew needs to bring a return-video or confidence feed to the field without racking a separate decoder.

The incoming stream can arrive over TRT (Teradek's own bonding transport), SRT, MPEG-TS, RIST, RTSP, RTMP, or a generic stream URL, so it isn't locked to one delivery protocol - whatever the truck or the cloud path is sending, the licensed encoder can decode it. It's a one-time, perpetual purchase, installed the same way as Teradek's other Prism licenses: from the device's web UI under System Settings, entering the license key against the unit it's applied to.
