Security is handled at the transport: HTTPS and SSH for management, AES256 video encryption and access management on the stream. Dual 1G network ports with PoE, dual RS-232 ports and IR signal support cover the control side, and the API is compatible with Q-SYS, Crestron and other common control platforms, so it drops into an existing programming stack rather than demanding its own.
