Symetrix RC-3 Analog Remote Control
This is the black-plate RC-3, the simplest way to put a volume knob on the wall. It is a single rotary potentiometer in a Decora-style plate, wired straight to the analog control input of a Symetrix DSP. There is no display, no menu, and no addressing to manage: turn the knob and the level follows. Programmed against the DSP, that same control can be pointed at volume, source selection, or preset recall, which makes it a clean fit for rooms that need one obvious point of control.
Because it is a passive potentiometer, the RC-3 draws no power of its own. It connects to the DSP's control inputs through screw-type barrier strips using ordinary shielded twisted-pair cable with two conductors plus a ground. The unit mounts in a standard single-gang U.S. electrical box, in-wall or surface, behind a black single-gang Decora faceplate, and it carries UL, cUL, and IEC 60065 safety compliance along with RoHS.
