Shure SCM810
The SCM810 is Shure's eight-channel automatic microphone mixer, built for installed sound in boardrooms, courtrooms, houses of worship, and conference spaces where many microphones share one system. Its patented IntelliMix gating opens only the microphones actually being spoken into and keeps the rest down, which cuts the noise, comb filtering, and feedback that plague a room full of always-open mics, all without an operator riding faders.
Each of the eight balanced mic/line channels offers adjustable EQ and switchable 48V phantom power, and the chassis provides eight direct line outputs plus a balanced master output. An RF-resistant design and full logic control of channel activation suit permanent installs, and units link to expand capacity up to 400 microphones. The 1RU chassis has an internal power supply for 120/230 VAC; an optional RKC800 rack panel converts the block connectors to XLR.
