Sennheiser MKE platinum-4-K Subminiature Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone
The MKE Platinum-4-K is a subminiature omnidirectional clip-on lavalier built for stage and theater work where the microphone needs to disappear. The capsule measures just 4.8 mm across, and an omnidirectional pattern keeps the level steady as a performer turns their head, capturing voice evenly from any angle. This is the reduced-sensitivity version, tuned with extra treble headroom for higher stage levels and better feedback rejection.
An ultra-thin 1.1 mm cable terminates in a 3-pin LEMO connector that plugs directly into Sennheiser SK 50, SK 250, and SK 5012 bodypack transmitters. The mic is finished in black to stay discreet against dark wardrobe and hair, and it ships with two protective sound caps, the short MZC 2-1 and the long MZC 2-2, to shape the response for the mounting position.
