Sennheiser MKE platinum-4-C Subminiature Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone
The MKE Platinum-4-C is a subminiature omnidirectional condenser lavalier built for demanding live stage work. Its 4.8 mm capsule is sweat-resistant and voiced with extra treble headroom, so it stays articulate at high levels and resists feedback where a flatter lavalier would ring. The frequency response runs 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz and the omni pattern holds steady as a presenter or performer moves.
This is the reduced-sensitivity version (6.3 mV/Pa), which keeps hot sources clean, fitted to an ultra-thin 1.1 mm cable that hides easily against skin or costume. The cable ends in a 3-pin LEMO plug for Sennheiser SK 50, SK 250, and SK 5012 bodypacks. It ships in black with the MKE platinum-C microphone and two frequency caps, the MZC 2-1 (short) and MZC 2-2 (long).
