Sennheiser MKE2-P-K Lavalier Microphone
The MKE 2-P-K pairs Sennheiser's MKE 2 subminiature lavalier with an inline phantom-power adapter and a 3-pin XLR output, a kit built for stage and broadcast rigs where an XLR feed is the norm. The MKE 2 is an omnidirectional pre-polarized condenser whose umbrella diaphragm shrugs off sweat and moisture, and its flat 20 to 20,000 Hz response reproduces speech and vocals without coloration. Because it is omnidirectional, it holds an even sound even as the wearer turns their head.
The capsule draws 12 to 48V phantom power through the XLR adapter, so it drops straight into a mixer or stage box with no separate power supply. It ships with the MZQ 222 tie clip and the MZW 2 windscreen for close-up mounting and outdoor use.
