Sennheiser HSP 2-ew-3 Headworn Microphone
The HSP 2-ew-3 is the beige, evolution wireless version of Sennheiser's lightweight HSP 2 neckband microphone, built around the permanently polarized MKE Platinum condenser capsule with an omnidirectional pattern for professional hands-free work. The neckband adjusts to any head size and sits clear of the collar, while the ultra-thin 1.1 mm boom can be mounted on the left or right and set for length and angle. A patented umbrella diaphragm shields the capsule from sweat, and every metal part is finished with a hard-wearing physical vapor deposition coat.
The omni capsule stays flat from 20 to 20,000 Hz and handles up to 150 dB SPL, so it holds together on loud stages as easily as it flatters a spoken voice. This version is finished in beige and its 1.6 m cable ends in the locking ew connector for Sennheiser evolution wireless bodypack transmitters. Because the cable is interchangeable, it is easy to swap or replace on the road.
