Sennheiser HS 2 BE Headworn Microphone
The HS 2 BE is the beige version of Sennheiser's HS 2, a headworn microphone that carries the same MKE 2 Gold omnidirectional capsule found in the company's top lavaliers. The omni pattern keeps a presenter, actor, or performer at a natural, even level regardless of head movement, and a very robust steel-wire cable and neckband hold the boom in place through active use. The beige finish is chosen to disappear against lighter skin tones on camera and on stage.
The MKE 2 Gold capsule spans a full 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz and tolerates up to 142 dB before overload, so it keeps a voice clean and natural even at close range and high levels. This version terminates in the 3.5 mm locking EW connector for Sennheiser evolution and bodypack transmitters, and its short gooseneck makes positioning quick.
