Sennheiser HME 46 Intercom Headset
The HME 46 shares the HMD 46's intercom headset platform but carries a noise-compensated condenser microphone instead of a dynamic capsule, giving it more output sensitivity for crews who prefer a hotter mic signal into their intercom beltpack. A supercardioid pattern keeps a loud stage or truck out of the talkback channel.
A patented two-piece automatic headband and soft ear pads keep it comfortable through a long shift, and the single, flip-away ear cup lets an operator keep one ear open to the room. It ships without a cable so a facility can terminate it for its own intercom system, and stereo earphones give a full reference on the covered ear.
