Sennheiser e914 Microphone
The e 914 is a small-diaphragm, pre-polarized condenser with a fixed cardioid pattern, made for the sources that reward a fast, detailed capsule: acoustic guitar, cymbals and drum overheads, percussion, piano, and orchestral instruments. The cardioid pattern and quick transient response capture air and attack while rejecting off-axis spill on a crowded stage or in a live room.
A three-position pre-attenuation switch (0, -10, -20 dB) lets it sit in front of loud sources up to 157 dB SPL without overloading, and a switchable bass roll-off tames proximity buildup and stage rumble. It runs on 48V phantom power and ships with a microphone pouch, windscreen, and the MZQ 800 clamp.
