Rode VideoMicro II On-camera Microphone
The RODE VideoMicro II is an ultra-compact on-camera shotgun microphone that upgrades a camera or phone's built-in audio without adding bulk. Its supercardioid electret capsule, fed by an annular line tube, focuses on what the lens is pointed at and pushes back the room around it, delivering natural, full-bodied dialogue from a mic that weighs just 24 grams.
It takes plug-in power from the camera or phone, so there is no battery to charge or switch to forget, and there are no gain or filter controls to fumble. The kit ships with the HELIX isolation mount to keep handling and bump noise out of the recording, deluxe foam and furry windshields for indoor and outdoor use, and cables to connect to both cameras and smartphones.
