Rode RØDE Pivot Adaptor

The Pivot Adaptor is a hinged mount that sits between a microphone stand or boompole and the mic, giving up to 210 degrees of movement to aim the capsule precisely at the source. That range makes it easy to angle a shotgun or studio mic over talent, into a cabinet, or down onto an instrument without moving the whole stand.

It uses a 3/8 inch thread and ships with a 3/8 inch to 5/8 inch adaptor, so it fits both boompole tips and standard mic-stand threads. Once positioned, it holds the angle securely through the take.
