Rode NT45-O Interchangeable Omnidirectional Capsule

The NT45-O is an interchangeable omnidirectional capsule for RODE's small-diaphragm pencil condensers. It threads onto an NT4, NT5, NT55, or NT6 body in place of the stock cardioid head, swapping a mic's pickup from directional to omni in seconds and letting one microphone serve two very different roles.

The omni pattern captures sound evenly from every direction, which is what you want for room ambience, drum overheads, orchestral pickup, and natural acoustic recordings. The capsule uses a gold-sputtered 1/2 inch diaphragm for a flat, extended response.
