Rode NT45-C Interchangeable Cardioid Capsule

The RODE NT45-C is an interchangeable small-diaphragm cardioid capsule that screws onto the NT4, NT5, NT55 and NT6 microphone bodies. It carries a gold-sputtered half-inch condenser element with a tight, controlled cardioid pickup, giving those pencil microphones focused directionality for spot-miking instruments, drum overheads and acoustic sources where side and rear rejection matter.

Because it shares the same thread as RODE's other NT-series capsules, you can keep a body and swap between cardioid and omnidirectional heads as the session demands rather than owning two microphones. It is the standard replacement or spare cardioid capsule for anyone running an NT5 or NT55 in the studio or on location.
