RDL RM-MP12A Rack-Mount 12-Channel Audio Monitor Panel
The RDL RM-MP12A is a rack-mountable audio monitor panel that lets an operator listen to any of twelve audio sources from one 1U front panel. Each of the twelve inputs can be individually calibrated for unbalanced consumer level, balanced professional level, an 8-ohm speaker line, or a constant-voltage 25, 70.7 or 100 V distribution line, so a single panel can check line feeds and loudspeaker taps side by side. A variable-intensity LED beside each input shows audio presence at a glance.
In interlocking mode the front-panel pushbuttons pick one of the twelve inputs to feed the calibrated meter, the built-in speaker or an external speaker, and the headphone jack; in mixing mode the buttons let the operator sum several sources together. An internal 4.5-watt RMS amplifier drives the speaker, front-panel VCA control sets headphone and speaker levels, and audio inputs and outputs land on detachable terminal blocks. The RM-MP12A runs on ground-referenced 24 to 33 Vdc at 700 mA in a single rack space.
