Quasar Science Rainbow 2 Q25R2 2ft RGBX LED Tube Light

The Rainbow 2 is Quasar Science's workhorse linear LED, a 23-inch tube barely an inch and three quarters across that still carries ten individually addressable pixels. Its RGBX Spectral Science Color Engine maps color in the CIE 1976 space, which is why the white light holds up on camera across the whole 1,750K to 10,000K range instead of only at the two or three points a lesser fixture is calibrated for. Quasar publishes TM-30 Rf figures of 93 to 94 at 2000K, 3200K and 5600K.

Power is deliberately unfussy: a Neutrik TRUE1 inlet takes 120-240V mains directly with no external supply, and a 4-pin push-pull DC input runs it off 12-30V batteries through a P-Tap. Control reaches it over DMX, Art-Net and sACN by wire, or CRMX wireless DMX, Bluetooth and WiFi through the starCTRL app, with no separate receiver box. The Ossium Rail is machined into the body, so the included Slider and Baby Pin let it hang off a C-stand, a gobo head or an Ossium Shell without adapters. Two Q-Boot bumpers, an 8-foot AC cord and an 8-foot DC cord ship in the box.
