proDAD Mercalli V6 SAL Video Stabilization Software for Windows

Mercalli V6 SAL is proDAD's standalone stabilization application, the version that runs on its own rather than as a plug-in inside an editor. It is aimed at the footage nobody had time to set up for: handheld news gathering, drone flights, event coverage shot off the shoulder. Where a general-purpose stabilizer smooths motion and stops, Mercalli goes after the sensor artifacts as well, correcting CMOS wobble and jello, high-frequency vibration, and rolling shutter distortion in the same pass.

Version 6 adds proDAD's AiA analysis, which sets the stabilization parameters automatically and smooths footage that would otherwise be written off, and it optimizes exposure and color at the same time rather than as a separate correction step. The interface is built around a one-click result with manual control available underneath it. It is a Windows application, supported from Windows Vista through Windows 11, and proDAD lists 4 GB of RAM as the minimum with a Core i7 and 8 GB recommended for a comfortable working speed.
