proDAD Disguise Automatic Video Privacy Masking Software
Disguise is proDAD's privacy protection tool for video: it pixelates or blurs faces and objects automatically, using a tracker that follows the subject across frames so an editor is not setting a mask position by hand on every one. Masks can be mosaic, blur, or a solid color, in multiple shapes including polygons, and several masks can run at once when a scene has more than one subject to cover.
Mosaic grid size and blur amount are adjustable, keyframes give precise control over mask position at specific points on the timeline, and exclusion layers let an editor protect part of the frame while leaving the rest untouched. Beyond privacy masking, the same tools do logo and trademark removal and directed viewer attention through selective blurring. It is a standalone Windows application.
