proDAD Defishr Automatic Fisheye Distortion Correction A one-time camera calibration

Defishr automatically removes fisheye and wide-angle lens distortion from video and stills, and proDAD built it around a calibration step rather than a per-clip adjustment. Film an on-screen checkerboard pattern once with a given camera and lens, and Defishr builds a distortion profile for that exact combination, which then applies automatically to every clip shot on that setup going forward. proDAD markets it as working with any camera brand or lens, GoPro and DJI action cameras included.

Beyond the automatic correction, Defishr adds manual controls for geometric correction of warped horizons, offset correction for off-center footage, and rotation and zoom for upside-down or misframed shots. It runs as a standalone Windows application and handles both video and photo files, so a single calibration profile covers stills and footage from the same rig.
