PreSonus Quantum ES USB-C Audio Interface
Quantum ES is the USB-C end of the Quantum line, built for a musician recording their own material rather than a studio tracking a band. Both models use PreSonus' redesigned MAX-HD microphone preamps with 75 dB of gain range, which is the headroom modern low-output ribbon and dynamic microphones actually need.
The ES 2 has two preamps and one instrument input; the ES 4 has four preamps and instrument inputs, both front-facing and engineered with Fender. An Auto Gain button sets levels without guesswork, and an illuminated push encoder switches between gain and output volume. LED metering across the front covers inputs and outputs. Both run 24-bit at up to 192 kHz over USB-C with custom low-latency drivers, and the Universal Control app handles full control and metering from a desktop, tablet, or phone.
