PreSonus CDL Line Array Rigging Hardware
Flying a CDL array starts with the rigging grid, a steel frame that hangs up to six CDL12 units or five CDL18s subwoofers (or a mix of the two) in a vertical line; a separate grid is sized for the self-powered CDL12P. The pull-back sling is mandatory once an array stacks four or more boxes, or whenever the extension bar is used at 12 degrees of tilt or more, and locks the array from swinging once it's flown.
The extension bar itself adds upward or downward tilt control to a hung array for aiming into the room. All three pieces are steel, sold separately, and sized to their named CDL or CDL12P configuration; the grids are not interchangeable between the standard and P-powered lines.
