Poly Studio P21Personal Meeting Display

The Poly Studio P21 collapses a whole desk of video-call hardware into one object: a 21.5 inch 1080p display with the camera, microphone, stereo speakers, and lighting built in, all reaching the computer over a single USB connection. The panel runs a fixed 1920 x 1080 at 16:9 with 250 cd/m2 brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and it doubles as a second monitor for a PC or Mac when no one is on a call. The 1080p camera sits above it behind a privacy shutter, with a maximum 80 degree diagonal field of view, electronic zoom up to 4x, and manual pan, tilt, and zoom from the Poly Lens Desktop app.

The part people notice is the light. A built-in ambient lighting strip at CRI 80 and 3000K color temperature washes the face during a call, with capacitive touch control and an ambient light sensor, so there is no ring light clamped to the edge of the desk. Audio is a single uni-directional MEMS microphone (50 Hz to 20 kHz) tuned for focused pickup with reverberance rejection, and dual stereo speakers rated 10W per channel running 80 Hz to 20 kHz. Interfaces are a USB 3.0 Type-C port to the computer, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports that work as a hub, a 3.5 mm jack, and wireless phone charging in the base. Note that the DisplayLink USB graphics driver is required. In the box: the display, a 1 m USB-C to USB-C/USB-A adapter cable, the 80W power supply and a country-specific cord, and the desktop stand.
